Thermostatic Towel Radiator Valves

Check how your pipes approach the radiator. If the radiator has a side inlet and the pipe rises from the floor beneath it, an angled valve is the right match; if the side inlet receives pipework running along the wall, choose a straight valve; if the side inlet receives pipework coming out of the wall, pick a corner valve. The same logic applies to bottom-inlet radiators: pipes from the floor suit straight valves, pipes from the wall usually need angled or corner versions. Use these orientations to match the valve to your existing pipework rather than guessing.

Many of the valves shown come in a 15mm size, which is the most common for UK towel radiators and central heating pipework in our range. If your radiator or pipework uses a different diameter, you will need the matching valve size rather than the 15mm items. Look at your radiator's valve tails or pipe diameter to confirm the correct size before ordering. Choosing the correct diameter ensures a neat, leak-free connection and the valve will perform as intended.

The range includes chrome, brushed brass, anthracite, black, grey and white finishes, so you can match a contemporary matte black mixer or a warm brass tap with a corresponding valve. brushed brass valves work well with warm brass taps and accessories, while chrome is a safe choice for classic or high-shine schemes. Pick the finish that ties in with your existing radiators, taps and accessories for a cohesive look.

Some valve packs combine a thermostatic valve with a matching lockshield, as shown in a few chrome and other finish products in our range. The thermostatic valve controls the rail's temperature while the lockshield is used to balance the radiator against others on the system and isolate it if needed. Having both in the same finish saves you time and ensures a matched appearance, a chrome TRV and chrome lockshield on a chrome towel rail.
