Sauber Pull Out Kitchen Tap with Dual Spray & Pot Filler - Single Lever Chrome

I don't usually write reviews, but felt compelled to do so after installing this beauty. Does it look good? Yes, looks very classy Does it function well? Yes, nice to have the flexible spray option and the pot-filling tap! Was it easy to install? Yes, two people ideally, one to hold the tap in place as it is heavy. Was the price good? Yes, really, really good. Maybe better than taps twice the price? I realise this is coming across as a gushing review, but to be honest, when I read some of the current reviews before buying it, I thought, 'It can't be that good, for this price, surely?'....but I didn't need to worry, really, really happy with the item and how quickly it was delivered. If I had to have a gripe, it would be that the flexible pipes provided weren't long enough - I had to re-use the ones I had from the old tap - but that's not the fault of the manufacturers I don't think. Time will tell, of course how well it will last - I own a B&B so this will get plenty of use in the months to come.

If anyone can be in love with a sink, it's this! It's a lifestyle change to washing up. You do need a lovely large acrylic sink to take this revolution to perfection. Picture a roast: Run the tap to fill the separate bowl with that part completely to the side. Cutlery etc. The spout is angled in. The with the hose, you have full space to hold plates up at approx 90° ish to rinse leftover gravy off without it going into the bowl. Those sorted and into the DW. Can hold pans high but still fill with soapy water. You get the idea. The children haven't worked out that they can have some real fun. The benefits of never teaching them to wash up. So big meals are dealt with swiftly. Big sink helps as can have roast dish soaking underneath washing up bowl and still have rinsing down plug but this is also where you need high hose. Basics too, no manoeuvring the kettle down to standard tap height. I think you get the picture

Initial thoughts are that it is of good quality and the spray attachment has proved to be very useful already. I fitted it in a utility room over a previously used Belfast sink. It is mounted through a 20mm thick marble slab supported by an additional 18mm thick piece of hardwood underneath. The fixings are standard for mixer taps and it seems to be pretty solid, because there is potential a lot of leverage on such a tall tap it may not be good for young children that may pull hard on the spray section. I'm not a plumber but found it pretty easy to fit. Time will tell whether there will be any issues with the tap but after a few weeks I'm very happy with the purchase.

Have to get use to its function as you have to switch on main tap before using either function which switch on individually. Best way is to have both function running simultaneously by turning main lever on fully then for extension tap, turn lever 3rd full so you have enough power to use shower function fully at same time. Gets a bit use to. Also check measurements carefully to make sure extension tap hangs over into your sink. Just about hangs over mine. Nice height looks in proportion to size of my sink, looks good and is good quality.

The quality is good and the tap looks impressive. Could do with a bit of info in the instructions or Plumbworld page to let you know which fittings you need to connect it into the house system (quick trip to town needed there). I was goign to get another for the main kitchen sink but I don't think the short spout will reach the bowl as it doesn't reach the washing up bowl in the utility room sink. Apart from that niggle, this works well.

just replaced my Ebay pull out hose tap This tap is heavy and sturdy and obviously made of better materials and stainless steel very easy to fit with 2 bolts to the sink top and east tap connectors The best things are: powerful single tap powerful spray jet and a very sturdy and user friendly tap lever for the spray function wife v impressed well done plumb world for providing good quality equipment

The item arrived, looked and felt good quality, the hose sturdy and not flimsy like similar items This was fitted by a professional plumber, this has been in two days and the control lever has developed a small drip, going to get him to tighten on his next visit, sure this is something and nothing Overall happy with purchase, just hoping the small leak can be rectified, 5 starts if it can 3 if not

I have gotten so many compliments on this tap, you wouldn't believe! Chrome is so shiny and washes/dries great, no streaks. The tap is so powerful too, and has the extra little tap if you want to wash your hands or just need normal sink functionality. Over the moon with our purchase.

Absolutely fantastic! No other words for it. Got it delivered within two days of ordering tap and a sink. Price wise, it's unbeatable too. I have not found a tap this good in looks and functionality at this price anywhere. I am also very pleased with my sink. Full marks, Plumbworld!

We’d seen similar taps in B&Q on on other sites for twice the price and were pleasantly surprised at the weight and quality of the tap and that it took only 2 days to arrive plus free postage to the Isle of Man. Great product and great service.

What can I say brilliant product and for the price looks so more expensive really pleased with it looks really stunning in the kitchen lovely mixer tap so glad I’d found plumbworld wouldn’t look anywhere else now unbelievable value

Took a while to get used to (not complicated, just not what I'm used to). Great tap. The the quality is great., for example the spray nozzle is secure in the bracket which hasn't been the base with other designs. Very happy.

Although the first tap was faulty, I can't fault the way these guys handled the problem. Sent me a replacement once i answered a few questions regarding the issue with the tap & received it the following day. 10 out of 10.

We previously had one the same that last 6 years before a leak appeared so decided to justvreplace it with a new one. This tap is as stated is very universal in use and also looks good as part of the kitchen furnishings.

Not normally one to review items unless they are exceptional and this one certainly is. A great looking product at a great price and very functional. Had to wait until it was in stock but well worth it. Buy it!!

Simply Amazing Service and Product! I ordered 2. The spray facility is great for washing and rinsing off products which saves time and water in the long run. Packaging and delivery(came next day) is top drawer!

This was delivered quickly. Ease to install and is great to use. You can control the water flow with the main tap or the shorter tap. I like that the two taps are isolated for use no accidental water spraying.

Really impressed with our new pull out kitchen tap. Arrived on time and very reasonable price. Friends have commented have smart it looks, ‘it must have been expensive’, and I am not going to argue!

Her indoors is still raving about this tap - it's just what she wanted for swirling around our large double sink. It's even stopped her from raving about the new shower cubicle for a while.
