I was really happy with this item. Works well and is good quality and at a reasonable price. Instructions where pretty clear.

I have ordered two of these and fitted one. I found it quite straight forward to fit, but did need to read the instructions through a number of times as there are quiet a few steps and different options for different types of toilet. It looks lovely, fits the loo well, and is comfortable to sit on. I was impressed how flexible they could be and will fit both my back the the wall toilet (yet to be fitted) as well as my traditional toilet which not all seats have the ability to do. I wanted a solid wood seat - which this one is, with quick resease for easy cleaning - which this one is, and soft close - which this one is! Tick, tick, tick! Very happy!

Does what the description said and looks smart. Had a small issue as our toilet base dipped down near the fixing holes so only half the self sticking securing pad sealed so filled the gap to level it with heat gun glue and trimmed off and the the depth of the toilet fixing holes were shallow so the top fixing expansion inserts were too long but cut them down as stabiliser inserts and used the under fixing wing nuts and very secure with no side movement. So far so good with the self closing mechanism. Plumbworld best price at the time.

I am happy to say this is now the best seat in the house! That may sound odd, and you may feel this reflects on the rest of the house, but you would be mistaken. I did a lot of research before purchasing the seat, but by gorge it has impressed me! Not only to easy remove function, the soft close, the antibacterial design but the the style and quality of the wood leaves my guests impressed at a glance and jealous at a sit. I implore anyone looking for quality to buy this seat! You wont be disappointed!

As other reviewers have commented, it's well worth reading the instructions at least twice and to take your time, ensuring the seat is secure and level. The soft close action works well and the seat itself looks smart. Thank you. This is a very good looking, substantial seat with attractive chrome work at the hinges. The soft close works perfectly. It looks and is an attractive high quality seat. I was going to instal it (average to good diy skills) but decided to leave it to an expert having looked at the mechanism and instructions-I’m glad I did as it took him two goes. It’s worth it though; good price for a great product.

This is a good value product, with a clever design. A bit fiddly to fit though and care needs to be taken to closely follow the instructions. Do read them through a couple of times before starting fitment. The first seat delivered had an unsightly mark on the lid. On contacting Plumbworld they immediately agreed a replacement and actioned straight away. Great service - thanks Plumbworld!

Initial problem with fulfilling the order. However, excellent reaction from customer services saved the day. Very good product and very good instructions for fitting. MAKE SURE YOU READ THEM FULLY AT LEAST TWICE TO UNDERSTAND THEM. I also suggest that you mark the back of the toilet rim (fine sharpie pen) in the v shape slots of the hinges before final fixing.

This is a great toilet seat. It was easy to fit, and adjust before pressing the sticky pads to stay secure. I’m very pleased with it. Obviously it’s comfy being wood and the quick release is a real boon. Cleaning around the mount is super easy when it’s not there. I’ll be buying another one soon for our other loo. Win!

Good quality product. Took longer than expected to fit it but that was my fault as I rushed into it - over confident. Very important to read entire instructions first, until you fully understand them. I eventually realised where I went wrong and started again - successful result. Looks good and works well.

The hinges had failed on my old plastic seat which made it noisy both to sit on and to lower. The new seat is warmer to the bum ! Clear installation instructions - included in the pack - made it a doddle to get working. It also looks good with my sandlwood two-tone bathroom suite. I am very happy.

We are delighted with our Croydex Rutland Oak Toilet Seat, it's the best seat we have ever bought. Simple to assemble and the fact it can be detached easily for cleaning, is brilliant. Very pleased with the price.
