Description−
Thermostatic temperature stop at 42°C
Thermostatic control means that this shower will hold its temperature steady at all times. It dynamically adjusts the mix of hot and cold water offsetting the everyday changes in water pressure experienced in most family homes. However, this shower goes one step further and stops at 42°C to prevent scalding.
15mm inlet connections
For the easiest of installation these showers are fitted with the UK standard 15mm inlet connection. This means no messing around with adaptors or connecting pieces, and no running to the local DIY shop for spares!
Adjustable inlets
The pipe centres on this shower can be adjusted between 110mm and 155mm allowing you to fit over any existing pipework centres within these measurements.

Bristan showers have excellent features, and the Bristan Regency Thermostatic Shower Valve with Adjustable Riser Chrome is an elegant, classically styled showering option which includes many advanced safety features to make the perfect choice for family use.
The dual lever exposed shower valve gives you precise control over the flow and temperature of the water. The exterior crosshead control is for the temperature and the lever behind controls the flow. Each one has a white ceramic detail which contrasts beautifully with the bright shiny chrome. The shower hose exits from the base of the valve and attaches to an elegant single function handset with a round head. This fits into the adjustable holder which slides effortlessly up and down the riser to give you a variety of showering heights for all members of the family. The handset unclips easily from the holder and the 1.5-metre hose extends to wherever you need water. The incorporated hose retainer keeps the hose in place while showering.
The thermostatic cartridge has a pre-set temperature stop at 42°C, which can be altered if desired, and there is an automatic cut out system in the event of a dramatic drop in water pressure. This shower maintains a constant temperature and compensates for any changes in the incoming water supply to maintain the selected temperature to within one degree. It comes with a choice of flow regulators of 5L/Min or 7L/min.

I was so pleased with this shower that I bought exactly the same again for the en-suite. I bought this to replace an old shower unit that that had pipes 155mm apart and there appear to be loads on the market that are 150mm but very few at 155mm - but this shower unit is fully adjustable and it works really well and fitted perfectly. It looks stunning and has a real quality feel. I would recommend.

Replaced a large mixer valve with this smaller version. All reasonable quality but the shower head isn't. A let down really. Only issue was the flow restrictors. Followed guide for full pressure combi boiler. Flow ok(ish) but not compared to previous flow. Removed restrictors completely and much better. Now sorted out looks good and everyone happy.

Nice shower works well, when mounting the shower valve on the wall bracket, difficult to tighten the Allen screws. The Allen key is to short on the short side, could be a tad longer so that it turns below and past the shower hose connection. Otherwise a good shower set. 3 stars for this shower.
