This product contains only the exposed shower valve allowing you to mix and match your choice of shower hose, riser rail, and handset for a shower that’s completely unique to you. 15mm inlet connections
For the easiest of installation these showers are fitted with the UK standard 15mm inlet connection. This means no messing around with adaptors or connecting pieces, and no running to the local DIY shop for spares!
Precise temperature control
Standard showers can have hot temperature spikes when others in the house turn on taps or flush the toilet.
Thermostatic control means that this shower will hold its temperature steady at all times. It dynamically adjusts the hot and cold water offsetting the everyday changes in water pressure experienced in most family homes.
Maximum temperature override
With this Bristan mixer shower the temperature is set to 38°C to avoid any vulnerable users getting scolded. However should you prefer a hotter shower there is a cleverly fitted override button that can be used to increase the temperature to a maximum of 46°C. It must be pressed down whilst turned to stop it being used accidentally, keeping all users completely safe.
Eco Mode
We’re all pretty adamant about doing our bit for the environment, so why not go the extra step further with this shower. The Bristan Artisan Shower Valve features a flow control handle which incorporates an eco-button. The Eco feature works by only drawing water from the cold-water supply, meaning you’ll only heat the water you wish to use. This saves on unnecessary water heating from your supply and is ideal for larger households with multiple bathrooms.
Wall mount 12 fixing kit included
This shower comes complete with a wall mount 12 fixing kit. This kit will make life much simpler when installing, servicing and replacing parts of your shower, while allowing for easy connection with your existing pipework.
WRAS Approved for quality
If you’re buying any sort of water fitting or product then it’s important that its WRAS (Water Regulations Advisory Scheme) approved. It’s the best way to work out if that particular product or part complies with the UK requirements for installation within the UK.
Thermostatic temperature control
Thermostatic mixing valves (TMV) are built into things like showers to protect users from sudden changes in water temperature. A blast of cold is uncomfortable but hot water can be very damaging to vulnerable users. A TMV2 in particular is a thermostatic mixing valve for use in domestic properties, keeping you and your family safe at all times whilst showering.

This is a top quality mixer from a top quality company. I bought one of these mixers in 2004 and it has performed day in day out perfectly without any issues. It looks as good as the day I bought it 16 years ago. The on off has just started to get stiff so I decided to replace it instead of looking for spares. I purchased the new version that is exactly the same size and fitting. It took just 5 minutes to replace as it was simple to loosen the 2 chrome nuts remove the old unit and fit the new unit onto the existing fittings and tighten the 2 new chrome nuts. Finished. What other fittings would you ever be able to do after 16 years. A Truly excellent product from Bristan Supplied by plumbworld at a great price delivered very quickly. Thank you.
