If you want to install a stylish bathroom mirror with lights but don’t want to faff with getting one hard wired into your home then there really is no better option than our gorgeous Artis Aqua LED illuminated bathroom mirrors.
They’re available in two different sizes (390 x 500mm & 500 x 700mm) and can be hung in either a portrait or a landscape orientation. Each mirror has two strips of light that run along the longer edges of the mirrors. These are powered bright LEDs, 48 on the smaller and 72 on the larger mirror.
The LED lighting is powered by replaceable batteries but don’t panic you’ll rarely have to change them as LEDs are so energy efficient! To activate the lighting there is a discreetly fitted switch on the one edge so you can have extra light and a feeling of added space any time you want.
Requires 8 x AA (1.5V each) Batteries.

I ordered this mirror to replace the one I had previously. It is not a large mirror, but perfectly adequate for a small cloakroom. It needs 8 AA batteries - quite a few! It will be interesting to see how long these last.
The lights are not especially bright and my wife says it would not be adequate for her to adjust her make-up. My previous mirror had a pull-cord switch, and it was the switch that failed. The switch on this mirror seems much more robust but quite stiff. It is a rocker switch and is located near the bottom right corner. Sometimes fingerprints are left on the mirror by people feeling for the light switch.
Overall I am very happy with this mirror.
