These extractor fans are certainly the cleverest with the ability to operate using a timer or based on the humidity levels in the room. It is operated when humidity levels within the room get too high or when the light switch is used, with a timer continuing to run the extractor fan for a predetermined amount of time.

Building regulations stipulate that extractor fans need to be able to extract at least 60 litres of air per second in a kitchen without a cooker hood. It’s needed to ensure a minimal build-up of moisture in the room due to cooking steam, reducing mould and grime in damp areas.
